PRE SEASON 2007: The Long Beach Armada
have been renamed "The Long Beach Armada of Los Angeles of California of the United States of North America
including Barrow Alaska." One of the reasons for this change is The Armada has
a "Sister City" team is Barrow, Alaska. In the Golden Baseball League, franchises can make official decisions while at the
same time, not be serious.
One thing for sure is
that this GBL Franchise will still be referred to as "The Long Beach Armada" for short.

OPENING NIGHT, JUNE 13th, 2007: This was The
Armada's first home game at Blair Field in Long Beach
turned out one of their largest crowds ever. Chris Klemm, Cole Cicatelli, and Jeff LaRue returned to The Long Beach Armada Lineup, along with Manager
Darrell Evans. There were a lot of new players in the line-up as well. "The Armada Girls"
made their debut at Blair Field for the first time. Prior to their first night at Blair Field, The Armada
went 3 and 0 against The GBL's new expansion team, the St. George Road Runners in Utah. The Long
Beach Armada defeated the Yuma Scorpions 3 to 2. Following
the game, there was a spectacular Fireworks Show out in centerfield.
JUNE 16th, 2007: The Orange County Flyers (formerly
the Fullerton Flyers) came to Blair Field for the first time for a series with the Long
Beach Armada, Flyers Veterans, Brett Levier, Buddy Morales,
Rich Poule and others returned to The Flyers lineup for another season. The Flyers defeated The Armada
7 to 3. Blair Field had a good sized crowd that night. Bingo featured a black-out game. New games for the fans were also introduced,
such as sumo wrestling (Sumo Padded Costumes) and Human Sandwhich Making Relays.

AUGUST 19th, 2007: This game was my last season ticket before
The GBL Post Season. The game went into extra innings, but the Yuma Scorpions defeated The Armada
8 to 4. I attended the game right after returning from Phoenix Arizona, as it was Fan Appreciation Day.
END OF 2007 SEASON: Long
Beach Armada makes it to the Golden Baseball League Championship
Series. I purchased post season tickets for the games held at Blair Field.
2007 GBL Championship
Series:
The Chico Outlaws
were the 2007 Golden Baseball League Champions. The Long Beach
Armada were runners up, and were the First Place team during the second half of the 2007
GBL Season. The year 2007 was the best season for both teams (so far).
