The Golden Baseball League has acquired
two Expansion Teams: 1) Victoria Seals, and 2) The Tucson Toros. They had one lined ip for Tijuana , but The TJ Potros postponed
play until next season because of health issues. The Edmonto Cracker Cats are now The Edmonton Capitals. The Reno Silver Sox
are not returning for 2009.
During the Pre Season, Ex Dodger Pitcher,
Jose Lima signed with The Armada. Hideki Irabu, also an Ex Major League Pitcher, also signed with The Armada.

June 13, 2009: Jose Lima, former Dodger's Pitcher (now
pitches for The Armada) Sang the National Anthem, and "God Bless America" during the 7th Inning Stretch.
June 26 to 28: The Long Beach Armada defeated their cross
town rivals, The Orange County Flyers 2 out of three games. I (Bill Baxter) got to sing the National Anthem during Friday
Night's Game which The Armada won 10 to 7. Jon Wilhite, who was the sole survivor of the crash which killed Angels's Pitcher,
Nick Adenhart, and 2 others threw out the first pitch on Saturday Night (June 27).
July 30, 2009: Johnny
Kaplan his an "Inside the Park Home Run." Reeko Jr." made his Rally Skunk Debut.
