Dec. 18th: Marcus Campbell (C) returned to The Arsenal Line-up.
Dec. 20th: I (Bill Baxter) sang The National Anthem at the Saturday Night
Game between the Anaheim Arsenal and the Idaho Stampede. The officiating was way off the mark in favor of The Stampede which
in the end costed The Arsenal the game. James White lead The Arsenal with 23 points.
Jan.
3rd, 2009: I (Bill Baxter) attended the game. During the first quarter and part of the second quarter, The Dakota
Wizards from Bismarck, ND; were in complete control of the game and ahead by almost 20 points. Later, especially after halftime,
The Anaheim Arsenal mounted a major comeback and took the lead for a short while, but The Wizards pulled it out in the end
with a score of 103 to 98. The Head Coach became very frustrated during The Arsenal's major 2nd half comeback, and ended up
being ejected from the game due to two technical fouls. James White led The Arsenal with 31 points.
Jan. 9th, 2009: Even though the Anaheim Arsenal lost to the Idaho Stampede
132 to 130, anyone who attended that game for had noe regrets of being there as it was a great game and very close throughout
the whole game. The last few seconds of the game, it looked like Idaho was going to ended theret with a victory, when The
Arsenal Guard, Tierre Brown took a 3-point shot the last seconds of the game--PERFECT SWISH! This sent the game into 5 minutes
of overtime, but last year's NBA-DL Champions pulled it out by 2 points at the end of the overtime period. Tierre Brown led
The Arsenal with 35 points.
St. Patrick's
Day 2009: I (webmaster) sang the National Anthem.
April 8, 2009: This was the very last home game for the Anaheim Aesenal, not just for the
2008-09 Season, but for all time. The Arsenal will move to a new home in Springfield, MA; in the Fall of 2009. I was given
the honor of singing the National Anthem for "The Anaheim Arsenal's last stand.
