1993-94 SEASON: The Disney Corporation purchased an NHL Expansion Team and named them the Might Ducks of Anaheim.
1996-97 SEASON: The Ducks made it to the NHL Play-offs for the first time in Franchise History. They one the Quarter
Finals against the Phoenix Coyotes, but lost the Semi Finals to the Detroit Red Wings.
1998-99 SEASON: The Ducks made it to their second NHL Play-offs, but lost the Quarter Finals to the Detroit Red
Wings.
2002 to 2003 SEASON: The Ducks on their very first Western Conference Championship against the Minnesota Wild,
and went on to their very first Stanley Cup Series which they lost to the New Jersey Devils 4 games to 3.
2005-06 SEASON: Walt Disney sold the Might Ducks of Anaheim to Henry and Susan Samueli. Later, Henry changed the
name of the team from th Mighty Ducks of Anaheim to the Anaheim Ducks. Also, Henry and Susan later received a Star on the
Anaheim/Orage County "Walk of Stars." The Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim was renamed the Honda Center. The Anaheim Ducks defeated
the Colorado Avalanche in the Conference Semi- Finals , but lost the Western Conference to the Edmonton Oilers.
2006-07 SEASON: The Anaheim Ducks were Stanley Cup Champions--The First NHL Team in California to win a Stanley
Cup Championship!! Scott Neidermayer was the MVP.
2007-08 SEASON: The Anaheim Ducks made it to the NHL Play-offs but lost the Quarter Finals to the Dallas Stars.
2008-09 SEASON: The Anaheim Ducks made it to their fourth consecutive NHL Play-offs and defeated the San Jose
Sharks in the Quarter Finals.
2010-11 SEASON: The Anaheim Ducks made it to their 8th NHL Post Season.
